Bearless in Indianola

Finally, a night without the bear and her cub. We have been plagued by our friendly bear for the last week. We always knew she was here in the woods, eating our apples, she really loved the cherries, and the assorted berries. But, as it closes in on winter, she and baby have started to make a nuisance out of themselves Suddenly they have developed a fondness for goose food. Ate 200 lbs. of the stuff last week. No matter what we did we couldn't keep the food safe. Finally, last night with the help of a motion light, and a lots of cow bells, I think we accomplished
our missiion. It isn't easy typing with your fingers crossed, believe me.

I hope to finnish my mom's twisted cable vest today, and make some progress on the current almost finished socks for DD#2. She has munckin feet. She saw her sisters' and loved the Summer of Love socks from my Blue Moon STR August club shipment. She's a tad stressed. She is a fulltime student, and a Navy wife, with a deployed husband. Plus, she is 3000 miles away from home. Hopefully, these new socks will make her smile.
